60" x 24" Lightscape.
This cityscape was created with acrylics using a palette knife. Gold, copper & silver leaf were applied to the texture creating a 3D effect. The final product has depth, luminosity, reflection, and great contrast.
I have used phthalo blue, turquoise, burnt orange, sienna, brown umber, aqua blue, ultramarine blue, iridescent gold, naples yellow, titanium white, phthalo green shades, green gold and purple.
The final layer takes the Swarovski crystals and gemstones. All crystals and gemstones are exposed but securely embedded in resin.
Borders are painted. It doesn't require a frame.
