ORTUS. A homage to the Sun.

Ortus, with its roots in Latin, embodies the essence of a new beginning, the dawning of a fresh start. It symbolizes the birth of something new, the first glimmer of an idea.

This large painting on display was created in layers of gold leaf, silver leaf, Swarovski crystal, glass crystals, shattered mirror, German glass glitter and precious stones. It can be reproduced in different dimensions and orientations (square or rectangular).

Each layer is sealed with a coat of resin. When exposed to light, it creates a beautiful and intricate gleam. It has depth; it is luminous and glamorous.

This style is built on a very strong wood birch panel up to 2" thick to sustain the weight of the resin.

Real gold leafing is available upon request.

Gemstones will remain exposed (never coated) and securely placed, embellishing the artwork.


Once the painting is almost finished, I will send you photos for approval.
You can request changes or amendments before completion.

A large-size painting might weigh up to 50/ 60 pounds; please use strong wall anchors while hanging heavy artwork.
